A Look at the 2010 Philadelphia Eagles Free Agents

Here’s an early look at the free agents to be after this season for the Eagles: Winston Justice, WR Jason Avant, LB Chris Gocong, G Max Jean-Gilles, LB Omar Gaither, WR Hank Baskett, FB Dan Klecko, C/G Nick Cole, LB Tank Daniels, S Sean Jones, S Rashad Baker.

Both Hank Baskett and Jason Avant have carved out nice roles in the Eagles offense, especially Jason Avant. He’s developed very nicely as a trusty 3rd down receiver out of the slot and I’m pretty sure the Eagles will try to sign him on to another contract. He had 377 receiving yards and 32 receptions, so he was a pretty regular part of their offense. Avant is only 26 years old and should improve.

Are the Astros Hot or Cold?

Who are the real Houston Astros in 2009? Are they the team that stormed out of the gates after the All-Star break, splitting a series in LA, sweeping the Cards, and embarrassing Johan Santana? Or are they the team that has lost 4 of its last 5 games to Chicago and New York since then?

While Wandy Rodriguez has been consistent and Roy Oswalt has looked good before injuring his lower back on Tuesday (if he misses significant time, the Astros are toast), the veteran threesome at the back of the rotation – Mike Hampton, Russ Ortiz and Brian Moehler – have been, at best, inconsistent and, at worst, disastrous.

Swing Trading Made Simple (Part I)

Lets take the analogy of a cricket team. There are 11 players in each team in the match. All players are talented and super fit. Everyone can throw and catch the ball. Everyone is a hard hitter. However some are more skilled at balling. Others are more skilled at batting. Not many runs will be made and the match will be lost if the baller is going to do the job of the batter. Not knowing what type of a trader you are can make or break your trading career. Determining your trading style is very important right from the beginning.

Investing in the markets is also the same. It depends on your personality makeup what type of trading is best suited to you. In general there are three types of trading: Positions trading, swing trading and day trading.

Smoking a Cigar Halfway: Smart or Wasteful?

When people debate the question of whether or not a cigar should be smoked fully or just halfway, they’re really debating whether or not there is something inherently bad about a half-smoked cigar. Whether or not a cigar is bad or good depends upon the tobacco and the wrap, not upon how much of it has been smoked.

Is this true or not? The question is bandied about an awful lot, perhaps more than is truly merited. It’s more of an academic question, really. The real answer is, of course, that smokers should smoke however much of their cigar they desire and, if someone objects, that person can smoke their own cigars halfway if they so choose. There are various reasons why this debate endures.

What is Market Sentiment (Part V)?

Rather than looking at the commercial participants, you should focus on the non-commercial participants when you look at the COT report. You would want to know the reason for ignoring the commercial category in the COT report. Commercial participants are mostly trading currency futures for hedging their future business transactions against exchange rate fluctuations. Commercial participants are mostly large transnational companies. These companies keep on rolling their positions from month to month for hedging even though they maybe taking losses.

However, large speculators like the hedge funds, the banks, big institutional investors and so on, trade currency futures contracts for speculation and pure capital gains only. Hedge funds are a major player in this category. Most of the large speculators will immediately close their losing position instead of rolling it over to the next month. Non-commercial participants do not have any intention of taking delivery of the currency in cash like the commercial participants.

Trading Strategy Based On Market Sentiment (Part IV)

How do you measure the currency market sentiment? The mood of the currency market depends on what the majority of the traders are thinking about the present market situation. By reading reports of analyst and financial journalist in the news wires, you can get an idea of the overall market sentiment. You can also join online trading forums to see what other traders are thinking about the current market situation.

Beginner Tips For When You Want To Play Bingo Online

I have always wanted to know how to play bingo online. A novice on the computer, my first concern was to understand the safety aspects of what I was doing. I liked the idea of being able to play in the comfort of my home and of course the lure of those huge jackpots always caught my eye.

I may have worried a little about how secure my account information would be, so taking that first step was the hardest.

Learn To Trade The Crosses

Finding the right currency pair to trade should be of utmost importance to you as an individual trader. As an individual trader you will only have $1000 to $10,000 at the most as equity in your trading account. Opportunity cost is a real cost for most individual traders. Funds committed to anyone position are funds that cannot be used for in other possibly more profitable trades.

In forex trading, almost every currency pair is linked to another, one way or the other. As an individual/retail trader, if you only trade USD, you risk missing promising trades and opportunities offered by other currency pairs especially the crosses.
